#93 – Good News About Injustice by Gary Haugen (My 100 Favorite Books)

As I write this, I realize there are a few books about human trafficking that could make the list.  Human trafficking, or modern-day slavery, is a horrific evil that has gained much publicity in the last decade.  There are numerous organizations working to bring traffickers to justice and care for survivors.  If you want to learn about this issue, there are many places to go.  In my opinion, the best book on this is Good News About Injustice by Gary Haugen, founder of International Justice Mission.  Gary Haugen shares his story of how he want from a high-power lawyer to starting this nonprofit to help free victims and bring cases to court against traffickers.  Its a fantastic and encouraging, though also sad is you get glimpses of the horrors in our world, book.
