If you’ve ever had the opportunity to hear Bob Goff speak, then it wouldn’t surprise you when I say he’s hilarious and engaging. I saw him at a conference probably ten years ago and I am pretty sure he is the only person whose name I recall from that conference. After hearing him speak I was excited to read his book, and it didn’t disappoint. Working in ministry, I’ve read lots of books that could loosely be qualified “Christian living” or “spirituality”; books that are meant to encourage the reader in their faith. Goff’s book is one of few that I would say are worth your time. Even if you’re someone who doesn’t read books like this often, if you’re a person of faith (or honestly, even if you’re not) I suspect you’d enjoy it.
