#46 – The Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren (My 100 Favorite Books)

This was my favorite book, of all the books I read, in 2017.  It is beautifully written and incredibly practical.  Spiritual practices are vitally important to grow as a person of faith.  In the past, I would recommend Richard Foster’s Celebration of Discipline to people interested in beginning the journey of spiritual discipline.  While I still like that book, this one may be taking over the top spot simply because it is very focused on normal, everyday people in regular life.

I am going to be reading it again, as I convinced my small group to read this one together!
